Collar Supports Women for Women International

Thanks to our partnership with Women for Women International, particularly through the "Sister Sponsorship" and "Stronger Women, Stronger Nations" programs, we have contributed to the empowerment of women affected by war and conflict by providing them with access to life-changing education.

Collar is proud to have sponsored 30 women, referred to as "sisters," through the "Stronger Women, Stronger Nations" program, managed by Women for Women International. Many of these women have been severely impacted by conflicts in Iraq, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as in other conflict-affected regions. As part of this program, our team maintained regular contact with these women by writing letters. This direct communication fostered deep connections and lasting friendships that transcend geographical boundaries.

For a full year, the sponsored women participated in training across four key areas :

Health :

Learning how to prevent diseases, plan families, manage stress, and improve nutrition.

Human Rights :

Promoting gender equality and teaching the laws that protect women from violence and discrimination.

Business Skills :

Developing professional skills to generate income in local markets, along with mastering accounting and budgeting.

Support Networks :

In response to the isolation caused by conflicts, this component encourages women to rebuild community, regain self-confidence, and establish strong support systems.

As a brand, we are incredibly proud to be part of an initiative that believes in and invests in the power and potential of women to transform their lives on their own terms, creating positive ripple effects within their families and communities.
